November 2016 Report

All meetings are held in the Oak room at the Falcon and will start at 7.30pm.

The year end is rapidly approaching and I would guess all thoughts on the coming Christmas season. We have just one event left, which is the AGM on 7th December. It would be good if we had a full turnout, for what is expected to be a quick meeting.
The year starts for the Chamber of Commerce general meetings on 1st February with a presentation on waste management for businesses. Perhaps not the most thrilling of subjects, but nevertheless most important for us all.
We received some information a few weeks ago on a competition called the ‘Great British High Street’. This has a number of categories including one for small market towns and it would be good for Bromyard if we could but in an entry.
Putting together an application could have many benefits for the town, besides the obvious benefit of publicity, should we be fortunate enough to be a finalist, but also a great way for the businesses to work together to determine our strengths and weaknesses.
Leominster entered this competition this year and are one of three finalists in the rising star section. We have had some interest and would like to hear of other businesses who would like to become involved. Please email to: or drop a message, addressed to the Chamber of Commerce, to the Falcon Hotel.
Best wishes to you all.
