Welcoming thousands of visitors over a two-day event, Bromyard Gala is a fantastic outing for all the family. From Heavy horses to steam engines, vintage cars to handicrafts, every year the Gala gets better.

Scarecrow Festival
JUNE 2022
Bromyard Scarecrow Festival takes place every year in late May or early June. Scarecrows and their owners take part in a grand parade and a competition for best scarecrow. This runs along with a wide variety of other entertainment, offering something for all the family.
Each year’s festival has a theme. Recently these have included “Royalty”, “Fairy Tales” and “Nursery Rhymes” and the scarecrows are exhibited in shop windows and other places around town for the duration of the festival.
Bromyard Art Walk
AUGUST 2022
Art from a range of local artists will be displayed in shop windows in Bromyard for a whole ten days - two weekends and the week in-between. Standing outside in the fresh air and looking in at the artworks will be a tonic for the town and all the participants, artists, shops keepers and visitors alike.
Nozstock
JULY 2022
Like the very best of festivals, Nozstock was founded by a fun-loving family and their friends – pretty much everyone who had a guitar to play or a joke to tell. It was a hazy, optimistic time at the turn of the millenium, when life felt simple and summers were long and full of amusement. The Hidden Valley has successfully retained this homely, welcoming nostalgia, but we’ve woven it into a delightful amalgamation of performance, art, electronic super-sounds and good old-fashioned guitar-strumming and drum-bashing, thanks to some great advice and not a small dose of audience participation and feedback. Now an established family event, Nozstock is a sonic escape boasting eleven stages of entertainment with surprising sights and intimate, secluded areas of theatre and discovery to be unearthed.
Folk Festival
SEPTEMBER 2022
Bromyard Folk Festival started in 1968 and sold 150 tickets. Now it is attended by thousands every year. Bromyard Folk Festival’s goal has always been to promote folk traditions by making them as accessible as possible during one weekend of packed entertainment. Acts can be local, award winning national performers and international folk legends. There is a warm family feeling to Bromyard Folk Festival, with entertainment for all ages, plus food, drink and activities throughout the whole weekend.
Christmas Tree Festival

Christmas Lights
